Jesus in his famous parable on the Prodigal Son taught about two different brothers. One who had a selfish faith and one who had a weak faith. The problem with both the brothers is that neither of them knew of the goodness of their father. But what if the problem was more than that, what if the problem was neither of the brothers looked out for the other. Pastor Dave Ryerson examines Jesus’s parable of the Prodigal Son and ties it into how we as the church are to be a family like God instructed us to be, a family that is not focused on our own individuality, but instead on our unifying love for the goodness of our Father.
