It was Martin Luther, the great Reformer, who first spoke of three conversions: “conversion of the heart, conversion of the mind, and conversion of the purse. Unfortunately, not all at the same time!” It is in the spirit of this quote that we proceed this week in our series “Follow Me” with a message based upon the text of 2 Corinthians 9:5-15 titled “Money Matters.” Although Jesus was not a fund-raiser, He certainly spoke about money a lot, and He does so because money matters. And because it mattered to Jesus, it must matter to those that follow Him.
