With the end of summer of course, comes “Back to School”! Speaking of which, most teachers will tell you that one obstacle to be overcome as the students return is that of forgetfulness; all of us are prone to forget things not relied upon regularly, and this applies to education and learning as much as anything else. As a result, the first few weeks of school are not necessarily spent leaning new concepts as much as reviewing old ones with the intent to remove the fog of forgetfulness. And we will do the same this week, looking to the text of Mark 1:14-20 with a sermon titled “Entering the Kingdom.” By God’s grace we will review important concepts that God does not want us to forget regarding His Kingdom.
