An Entry Worthy of Notice

An Entry Worthy of Notice

I have enjoyed the privilege over the years to be the officiant at many weddings. For as different and unique as each couple is, there is at least one uniting factor in all of their services, that moment we all anticipate and wait for, a moment that draws all attention to a single place. What am I speaking of? Why, the bridal procession of course! Only after everyone else is in place does the bride take her entry, and every eye is upon her as she walks slowly and gracefully forward to the altar, making a most grand entrance.

I find an interesting note of comparison in our text with the Triumphal Entry in Mark 11:1-10. In this account, we see Jesus by design make an entry that no one would forget, and one that was out of character for Him based upon how He had always operated in His three years of ministry. In this message, we will explore “An Entry Worthy of Notice” and discover what makes this account so worthy of our attention.
