I find it fascinating that regardless of culture, time, and language, there are certain truths about humanity that are basically the same. One of those truths is making excuses. We are professionals at that, and we learn at a very young age. Sometimes our excuses sound legit, sometimes they are just lame. What happens though when we start making excuses in matters that relate to our spiritual lives?
In this message, we are going to dive into a parable and observe people making excuses. As we will see, what is being missed out on is something of eternal beauty and consequence. I believe that the Lord has important truths to drive into our hearts through His Word.
