A main stay of the real estate business is the “open house”, an opportunity to view a home (online or in person) in order to determine its appeal, value, and functionality. Solomon, in Ecclesiastes 7:1-14, essentially fills the role of our real estate agent as he leads a tour of three houses: the house of mourning, the house of feasting, and the house of God. The message this week is titled “Open House”, and will call us to consider what house is most appealing and what home would be best to live in.
