Christianity on the Move: What is it to be Saved?

Christianity on the Move: What is it to be Saved?

It would be my observation that “spring is in the air”. Why might I make that bold statement, since by the calendar it is only the first week of March which means we have nearly 2 months of winter yet (ok, I am exaggerating a bit!)? Well, “evidences” have convinced me. For example, I have spent a lot of time prepping sermons this week, and I wasn’t in my basement office hunkered over a space heater but out on my deck in my fuzzy britches and a sweatshirt—the constant sound of melting, dripping water off of the eaves—the sighting of several robins in the bushes and the greening of grass as well as the rapidly diminishing snow pile in my backyard are all “evidences” that lead me to the statement: “Spring is in the air.”

This sermon will focus on this thought also as we look at “evidences” of what it is to be saved. In Acts 22 we will see Paul recounting for a second time his “being saved” and we will dig into the proof or evidences of his salvation in a message titled “What is it to be Saved?”
