All of us (pastors included!) experience times and events in our lives when our theology doesn’t match up with real life. This is especially true as we look around us and see what appears to be the great ease, luxury, and prosperity of the those having nothing to do with God and even mocking Him, while surrounded by those of faith who suffer and are often lacking by worldly standards. The result can be doubt and even a secret envy, a reality that Psalm 73 deals with in a moving and powerful way. This week’s message is titled “When Theology and Life Do Not Match Up” and we will answer this question: “What does the believer do when the wicked prosper and the righteous face pain?”
