Have you ever completed a large project, task, or assignment and found yourself asking “What’s next?” I would like us to think along that line this week as we celebrate Confirmation Sunday, and observe the fruition of 3 years of instruction in basic Christian faith in the lives of twenty-one of our young people. And the point I want to draw upon this year—as I do EVERY year—is that Confirmation is not graduation, it is not the end of the journey, but rather, it is a milestone along its way. The question we will respond to this week is “What’s Next?”, and not just for our Confirmation students, but for you and I as well.
