Do you have that deep dark inner shame, maybe from sins you hope no one ever finds out about? Or maybe you’ve hurt someone in a way that still weighs heavy on your heart? Basically, those things that you have done that you wish you could take back, but since you can’t they continually haunt you years later. In some of his Psalms, David describes the pain from those sins as affecting us even to the point of permeating our bones!
This Sunday we’ll be examining David’s Psalm of lament (Psalm 51) and coming to see that maybe we should let those sins go, because God has.
