Sight for Sore Eyes

Sight for Sore Eyes

I remember in my days working on Grandpa’s farm the thrill of striking out for that first pass over a field with a digger or plow and the intense longing I had to make it that first furrow or pass one that was absolutely straight. In order to do so, I had to keep focused on an object in the distance and allow no distractions to sway my head in any way, for that first path was the one you would follow for the remainder of the work in that field. In so many ways that reality applies to Psalm 25 and David’s own declaration that his eyes were to be continually on the LORD (v. 15a). There is great comfort to be found in this truth, and this week we will explore several of them in a sermon titled “A Sight for Sore Eyes”.

In Christ,
