When you hear the words “identity theft” what comes to mind? For most of us, probably social security, bank account, or driver’s license numbers, which is definitely correct. Yet, for as real as this type of identity theft is, I believe we are currently prone to an identity theft which is even more serious, namely, that of our heart and spirit.
In this week’s message we will begin from the text of Mark 12:16-17 and discover Satan’s attempts to steal your identity, the crisis of identity we all face, and how to protect and reclaim this identity in Christ. Our sermon is titled “A Crisis of Identity” and I hope you and your family can join us on Sunday for worship.
